Celebrate NZ Sign Language Week at Wellington Zoo

Come and join a Guided Tour by one of our Zoo Rangers and a Sign Language Interpreter to learn all about the amazing animals that live at Wellington Zoo. We are running two tours on Sunday 14th May 2017 at 11am and 1pm.

The 11am tour will meet at the Otter habitat near the Zoo entrance before heading along the river trail to the New World Monkeys. The tour will finish up at our newest walk-through experience, Meet the Locals He Tuku Aroha where you’ll have the chance to get up close to Kororā Little Blue Penguins, Kunekune pigs, Sheep and Kea.

The 1pm tour will meet at the Chimpanzee habitat, and will visit the Meerkats on the way to Neighbours, the Australian walk-through experience. Keep an eye out for the Kangaroos, Wallabies and Emus who are wandering around as you go by the Dingo and Tasmanian Devils.

Places are limited so get in quick to secure a spot!
